A long-time resident of Almonte, Ontario, I delight in creating thoughtfully hand-wrought works of iron, be they architectural pieces or entirely whimsical art. Although the fundamental techniques I apply involving hammer, fire and anvil have been in use for thousands of years, I do take advantage of the tools of today’s modern blacksmith such as torches, electric welders and environmentally friendly propane forges.
