Chris Van Zanten is a multi-disciplined Glass Artist who started his formal art education at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in the mid 70’s.
The past 16 years have been focussed in Art Glass; primarily architectural glass and hot glass. He has undertaken architectural glass commissions for a broad range of clientele in Canada and the U.S. Chris began his hot glass exploration in Corning, N.Y. in 1996. While there, he studied at several studios with various artists. This eventually led to the deeper involvement and exploration found in today’s work.
