Our Story
“Vamos” is Spanish for “let’s go!” The name was inspired by the many Spanish-speaking countries Lisa Nye-Labonte visited while sailing around the globe over the course of 8 years. After returning in 2008, Lisa put plans in place to open this store as a means of getting people out and moving.
Six years on, our community has grown, the business has evolved and we have a great team in the shop everyday to service our loyal customers. We love them and they love our commitment to excellent customer service, great selection and fair prices. It’s fun. Getting people active and outdoors, gets us motivated.
